By accessing and using MyTriviaTeam, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

MyTriviaTeam provides a platform for trivia teams to log games, track statistics, and share their achievements. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
• Submit false or misleading information

6. Existing Pro Subscribers (Legacy Billing)

If you are currently subscribed to a paid plan that pre-dates our move to a free-for-everyone model, your subscription continues under the original terms until you cancel via the billing portal. Pro features are now included free for all users; you may cancel any time with no loss of functionality. To manage or cancel an existing subscription, visit the billing portal from your account settings or contact support@mytriviateam.com.

7. No Service Guarantee

The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice. No service-level agreement (SLA) is offered on the free tier. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties, so portions of this clause may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

MyTriviaTeam is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This clause does not override mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

10. DMCA Notices

We respect copyright. To report content that you believe infringes your copyright, send a notice that includes the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) — including a physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
